About the Bonfire Babe Earwarmer
The Bonfire Babe Earwarmer is the next cozy piece in my Bonfire Babe Collection, which began with the Bonfire Babe Messy Bun Hat. That design quickly became a community favorite for its warmth, texture, and stylish fit — and I knew I wanted to expand the collection with another quick, satisfying accessory.
This earwarmer carries the same inviting, bonfire‑inspired texture as the original hat, but in a lightweight, everyday‑friendly format. It’s perfect for those days when you want warmth without the bulk of a full hat, and it works up beautifully in worsted‑weight yarn.
Whether you’re making one for yourself or whipping up a quick gift, this pattern is relaxing, rhythmic, and satisfying from start to finish.

- Ch 1 at beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.
- Ch 3 at beginning of the round counts as a dc.
- Large Shells = 5 dc
- Great for quick gifts, markets, and charity projects
Special Stitches
- Sc 3rd Loop: With the front of the stitch facing you, look at the top of the stitch, and find the sideways “V”. Next, bend the stitch to look at the back, and you should see another “V”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”, this is called the 3rd loop. When working in across, like you are in the square the 3rd loop should be facing you.
